Head Coach
"I have been swimming competitively from 12 years. I graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 2021 after swimming there for four years. I am currently working on receiving my elementary education degree from Franklin College. I have complete my second season of collegiate swimming after the Women's Swimming and Diving team secured our 6th straight HCAC win. I have worked at the Meridian Woods pool for 5 summers. I have worked as the 6 and under's coach for 3 seasons, assisted with the Meridian Woods Swim Team, and given swim lessons. My goal as a swim coach is to instill a love for swimming and foster healthy competitive spirits. I am looking forward to a season full of fun and accomplishments!"
Nikki Knight is a 30+ year resident of MWP, her younger brothers swam for the Marlins in the early 1990s when her family moved into the neighborhood. Nikki has 4 children who have each participated for our illustrious swim team from summers as 6 and unders, to age-out graduates! This summer she will have two swimmers in the pool, and will be coaching with former athlete Grace, whom she coached in high school. Nikki comes to us with 6 years experience coaching for the PMHS Falcons Swim and Dive Team. She is thrilled to get to work with swimmers of all ages and experience this summer to build a love of the sport and competition. She is also very excited to get to see Beth EVERY MORNING this summer at the pool, because who doesn’t think that is the summer dream?

The Hensley's
It's a great year to be six and under! Beth and Sam Hensley are co-coaching the 6-and-unders! We can't wait to teach your little ones how to swim! Beth Hensley is the Marlins President. She does all the things. Sam Hensley is her offspring. She has taught him to also do all the things. Additionally, he's going into his senior year at Center Grove High School.
Beth Hensley
Beth is our Fearless Leader. She runs the registration, volunteers, schedules, shirts, suits, caps, and this website. She has an Olympic medal in child wrangling. If you need her, look for a visor and clipboard. (She's probably trying to find your kid for an event.
